The design of the Karibù floor lamp refers us to the mid-century modern style – the modernism of the mid-20th century that aspired to improve and simplify people's lives. This idea is still relevant today; thanks to the craftsmen at Cattelan Italia, in the Karibù it is masterfully reinterpreted for a modern interior. Its silhouette is unsparingly geometrical: the cylindrical concrete base serves as a support for the thin steel frame with an irregular lampshade. The tilt and height of the floor lamp are perfect for placing it near the bed or sofa.
